Lockwood Primary School

School Council

Welcome to our School Council page

We are very proud of our strong, representative and hard working school council.  Our school council members are elected in September each year through a process that mirrors elections in local and national government.  Once elected, the councillors from Reception to Year 6 meet regularly with the Headteacher and other staff to discuss any issues or proposed developments in school.  The school councillors also disseminated infomation to the other children and provide a mechanism for pupils across school to raise issues or request changes.  The school council is also very active in raising money both for school funds and also to support the local community and the wider world.
